Web3 fashion marketplace ARTISANT has teamed up with sportswear fashion giant PUMA for an exhibition of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) at the Decentraland Metaverse Fashion Week.

Kicking off on Thursday, the event is set to run from 24-27 March and will feature the partnerships’ Wedding: Upcycled product lineup, designed and created by Regina Turbina (@digital.fashion.princess).

Turbina, a Middle East-based digital fashion designer, is set to unveil the NFTs as part of PUMA’s “She Moves Us” campaign aimed at empowering women with numerous success stories from the industry.

According to ARTISANT, it will donate roughly half of the funds earned from the product drop to global nonprofits backing initiatives for women. The firm will also host several open call sessions online to invite female creatives and crypto enthusiasts to discuss their inspirational work, histories, and values.

We are happy to announce that @reginaturbina will take part in @decentraland Metaverse Fashion Week with Wedding: Upcycled collection powered by @PUMA and @artisantnft.

The product drop will feature four digital designs such as upcycled footballs, PUMA trainers, goalkeeping gloves, and backpacks combined with ethereal wedding garments, silhouettes, and others.

ARTISANT will mint each NFT as an individual work for auction on Rarible at a later date soon to be announced on the platform’s website. The Rarible Digital Fashion district is a premier virtual real estate hosting the Wedding: Upcycled fashion collection at ARTISANT’s Metaverse-based shop.

The four wearables will also appear at the Regina Turbina fashion exhibit for their owners to model in Decentraland at the event.

ARTSANT, a decentralised NFT-based marketplace hosting digital wearables and fashion, features blockchain and Ethereum-based cryptocurrencies, according to its website.

The platform boasts ERC-721 standards for its NFT collections along with on-chain trading systems.

Wedding: Upcycled Comments from the Designer

According to Turbina, she created the product lineup after deciding against a formal wedding with her husband, adding,

“I think these garments would look simply outstanding in reality just as they do in the Metaverse and I would be delighted to wear one of these dresses in the physical world someday”

She added the “combination of very diverse elements” was “living proof” of the limitless possibilities in digital fashion.

She continued, stating,

“The world has never been more connected, people have the absolute freedom of creativity and self-expression and no physical resources needed to produce these beautiful dresses. It is also about the community and friendship”

Turbina concluded that each garment offered a “statement” on themes related to female sisterhood, power, individuality and others, with an additional design for men fitting for the collection.

Curated by @UNXD_NFT and the Decentraland Foundation, you’re invited to the #MVFW opening of the all-new Luxury District.

The Metaverse Fashion Week will feature a host of new digital creations, with companies such as The Immersive KIND and e-ternity debuting their own NFT-based products at the event. The team will open ‘The Ultimate Seduction’ during the event, backed by sponsorship from Threedium and Boson Protocol.

Decentaland’s acclaimed event will see top fashion firms such as Tommy Hilfiger, Estée Lauder, Forever 21, Dolce and Gabbana, Philipp Plein, and others walk the virtual runway to showcase exclusive NFT wearables and reach greater audiences across the internet’s rising Web 3.0 space.

The event will also host a series of panel discussions from digital fashion experts on the future of NFTs, Web3, and the Metaverse, at CashLabs HQ and Boson Protocol’s Metaverse platforms.
