NEAR Misfits are one of the first generative NFT collections on NEAR. They’re a diverse bunch, with one thing in common: their vision for the Metaverse and the conviction to make it a reality. They are here, they are early and they are battling through winters and regulatory assaults.
“Misfits were first envisioned around a year ago when the team was first introduced to NFTs on NEAR, merging the ideas of being early adopters in the NEAR ecosystem, the rise of metaverses, and the crazy new products people are building”, says Ollie, from the Misfits team.
Considering the number of projects building on NEAR, coupled with the fast, cheap and UX-focused infrastructure, it’s easy to understand why the Misfits flocked to NEAR.

NFTs are easily traded on Mintbase — even if minted outside of our platform — as long as they follow NEP 171 standard. Once the contract is indexed, tokens can be viewed, sold and transferred on our interface. And we’re just getting started!
