Essence will have inflationary and deflationary periods.
The most beneficial time for the players could be the inflationary period which could be the first 2-4 years
Assurance that Tier 2 land will also produce Essence albeit at a slower rate. If and when Earth 2 decides to release T3 land, the essence accumulation ability of such land will further be slower than T2 land.
There will be set maximums in terms of Essence yield separately on T1 and T2 land
The amount of Essence yield on any given land will also depend on other factors such as Jewels slotted and other variables (he didn’t mention what are these ‘other variables’)
For players short on time to manage properties, they will be able to contract/collaborate with other ‘eco-sim players’ in order to get the maximum benefit on their property. Both the property owner and the eco-sim players will share the Essence yielded in such cases and dictated by their contract. The ability to contract between players could come over next few months
Small property owners will get fractions of Essence, so it doesn’t show up as zero
Excited about the vision of web3, and the ideology of blockchain but do not agree with how most projects in the space are using it. When Earth 2 enters web3, want to be sure that we are making the right decisions and in the interest of longevity of the platform.
We spent a lot of time catching up after we went viral, and we want to add utility. Looking forward to the launch of the 3D environment of Earth 2.
Still debating internally between custodial and non-custodial wallets. If we went with custodial wallets there will be at least a couple hundred thousand Essence holders, compared to Sandbox or Decentraland which only have between 20k-30k holders. Very curious to see what the Earth 2 community thinks about this choice.
Resources are coming soon. Users will be able to see what resources their properties have. This will be followed by the Resource validation period. The resource heatmap is maybe a bit closer and that will be the first glimpse of where resources are on player owned land. We not gonna be showing resources on non-owned land.
