According to WhaleStats, Shiba Inu is the 2nd largest token held by Ethereum (ETH) Whales. There must be some strong reason that the ETH whales are holding a meme-coin. Meanwhile, SHIBs 24 hour trading volume surged by over 131%.
ETH Whales hold over $1.4 billion worth of SHIB
The WhaleStats revealed a list of the top 10 tokens held by the biggest ETH whales. The tally carried the names of FTX token, SHIB, WBTC, MATIC and MANA.
FTX token is the biggest coin held by the ETH whales. They own over $1.8 billion worth of FTT tokens. Shiba Inu is the 2nd largest coin held by them. The biggest ETH wallets are storing over $1.4 billion worth of SHIB tokens. FTX and SHIB mount to be 17.52% and 13.64% respectively of the total holdings of top ETH whales.
Dev announces upcoming projects
Recently, Shiba Inu launched its SHIB: The Metaverse and other projects related to it. Later, it announced that the locking system is also live and users can now lock their LEASH and SHIBOSHIS. Early access to land sales is just a starting point of this Metaverse and an interactive map will be out soon.
The Milkshake has shared some recent news related to the Shiba Inu ecosystem. It informed that developer kaaldhairya has confirmed that he is working on SHI and other projects. Kaaldhairya has dropped a list on which he is working right now. The tally holds projects like SHIBASWAP V2, SHIBARIUM, SHI and Shib burn portal on the way.

Shiba Inu’s price is trading at an average price of $0.000025. SHIB’s 24 hour trading volume of $1,835,293,168 registered a surge of a whopping 131%. According to CoinMarketCap, Shiba Inu is the second largest meme cryptocurrency with a total market capitalization of over $13.7 billion.
