One of the largest whales on the Ethereum (ETH) network ‘Light’ has purchased over 49 Billion Shiba Inu tokens (SHIB), revealed Whalestats. The purchased coins were worth over $1.2 million. This transaction proves that Whales are excited over SHIB’s upcoming Metaverse Shiberse. Recently, SHIB announced that they are set to release with 99,000 plots of land in it.

According to WhaleStats, the purchase forms part of the highest amount of SHIB bought by whales as it is ranked first on WhaleStats’ transaction tracking list.

The 1,000 largest Ethereum wallets are worth an average of $144312 million and have an average of 40,453 ETH, 38 tokens, and 1 NFT.
ETH whale wallet ‘Light’ holds more than $866 million worth of SHIB coins. This makes Shina Inu 12.4% of the wallet’s total holding. However, RON is the biggest token by dollar value held by the whale.
Shiba Inu among top 10 bought crypto Coins
As per another data revealed by WhaleStats, SHIB has managed to reclaim its spot back in the top 10 purchased tokens by the biggest whales. Dog-themed meme coin holds the ninth spot in the list. While, leading stablecoins, Etherium, BAT token leads the list.

However, the Self-claimed DOGE killer holds the third spot among the top 10 tokens held by the largest ETH whales. Now, the biggest wallets are holding over $1.3 Billion worth of Shiba Inu coins. FTX token is still the biggest coin held by the whales, which is worth around $1.6 Billion.
40 Million SHIB burned in last 24 hrs
In another development, Shibburn has reported that over 40 million SHIB tokens have been burned in 4 transactions in the last 24 hours. This can be termed as solid support shown by the SHIB army amid the recovery of the cryptocurrency and altcoin markets.
Meanwhile, the world’s second-largest meme-coin is up by 3.25% in the last 24 hours with a 24-hour trading volume of $1,562,503,944. It is trading at an average price of $0.000024, at the press time. As per Coinmarketcap, SHIB is the 14th largest cryptocurrency with over $13.1 billion market capitalization.
