We are excited to announce that we did not only release two new rooms this week, but we have paired one of the new room releases with an AMA featuring the partner it was built with!
Tony Tafuro
We strive for a diverse portfolio of partners and content in SPACE, and our collaboration with Tony is a testament to that! Tony’s background is so unique, which is nothing short of what we expected from a New York native like him. Since beginning art from an early age, he graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) from Parsons in Photography and dove headfirst into the art world, publishing several books and having his photographs displayed in both groups and private art exhibitions! Not only does he have a solo show happening in New York in June, but even a solo show this week, which is so amazing, so congratulations to Tony!
Now, the Tony Tafuro X SPACE room follows the same concept of Morton Street Partners, as it is a replication of Tony’s real New York studio! To make things even cooler, this room was made with so much attention to detail. Not only does the pegboard wall housing all his supplies have a digital twin replicated in SPACE, but the attention to detail even goes down to his bookshelf, where you can find the stickers in his studio and even links that take you to the books he actually has! Additionally, Tony’s art is on the walls and include links to the NFT marketplace and his e-commerce store that he sells his art at. Loak
Another cool collaboration we have is our partnership with Loak. Loak helps businesses create products in the metaverse and establish their presence in the web 3. They have also been actively working with world-renowned actors and artists such as a collaboration with Kalani Robb, a 3-way collaboration between Desiigner, DJ Whookid, and Slushii, to create an NFT collection, and even artist Waka Flocka Flame to create NFTs usable in the popular blockchain game Splinterlands. We’re really proud of this room and the ideas that came up while making it. These SPACE collaboration rooms will continue to push the boundaries and add new exciting features into each one.
